I requested a digital advanced readers copy from NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press and providing my opinion voluntarily and unbiased.

My Thoughts: This is book number 3, and the final, in the Sisters of Salem series. These books connect with a continuing plot, so it is best to read them in order, if possible. The series continues with the sisters, Mercy and Hunter. The first book opens with the sisters being polar opposite, one is nice and one is mean. This book introduces them as both mean, their mother has passed, so this may contribute to how the characters are being portrayed. The last book ended with an open plot and this one picks up on that plot, but also develops further plots. While I enjoyed the sisters, in their opposite format, in the prior two books, in this book, they became unlikeable, again, probably for character development.

This story was fun and lighthearted. The characters were further developed in this novel with some depth, fantasy, witchy, and just well done. The author’s writing style was a lighter read with aspects of paranormal, magic, great world building, and keeps you engaged with a smaller book. The reviews on this book is that it is the best in the series, which I agree with. This was a great witchy series. I would recommend, but I would start with the first book, Spells Trouble, then Omens Bite and then this one so that you are not confused by the plot.
