Supper Club by Lara Williams

I think this book was trying to be many, many different things. It is none of them.
I found Roberta sort of insufferable, and not in the fun, Unlikable Narrator, way. I don’t think the lack of chronology does any favors for the narrative, and I just couldn’t understand any real motives to the characters. Stevie is flimsy, confusing, mildly annoying. I feel like there is so much in this story that alludes to something more but just never quite gets there.
