This goes down as my least favorite of this trilogy and I hate saying that because this series has my heart in a death grip. I absolutely adored the first two books of this series, but this one fell insanely flat for me. I was so excited to jump into this because we get Tobias POV and get to learn so much more about who he is, which added a ton more depth to the stories overall for me, but this book could’ve honestly been a novella or an extended epilogue. The first 80% was very repetitive, the spicy-ness overdone, and the plot didn’t really get good for me until around 75% and even then the “action” didn’t really last long? That said, the ending crushed my heart in the best way (although I could’ve done without Sean’s tidbit). Though I didn’t have the best time with this book, pls bury me with the first two.
