Mrs. 'Arris Goes to Paris by Paul Gallico
3.0
Such a delightful and easy read, perfect for a break between the more intricate storylines I’m used to. This was a book club read and made me want to find a European flower market to explore.
Favorite quotes:
“They were worlds apart in everything but the simplicity of their humanity, and so they were really not apart at all.”
“… and the blond, serious-minded, grave-faced and scarred M. Fauvel who overnight had changed from an adding machine into a boy and a lover.”
