The story dates back to India under the British rule and the uprise of the first revolution for independence. When the brutality and dominance of the British rule started showing its to face to the Indian countryman, it was high time for them to voice against it. But this revolt drowned Delhi in blood and in between this bloodbath and brutality unfolds the story of The immortal Mastaan.

This book is an excellence of storytelling. The way all the events are described is beautiful as well as brutal. In the beginning I found it a bit draggy but eventually it picked it's pace and I really like the book. The language was moderate. This book is certainly recommended to history or historical fiction lovers. Now, I am looking forward to read its part 2 soon.
