Dancing with the Octopus: A Memoir of a Crime by Debora Harding

dark emotional inspiring reflective sad fast-paced

I’ve wanted to read this for ages after seeing it all over Instagram and I’m so glad I finally got around to it because it was just so bloody good! There’s something about a true crime memoir that just hits all the right spots and checks all the right boxes. Even better when it’s written by the victim themselves and we get to hear their account of the horrifying events that they were put through due to despicable criminals. Harding shared her story beautifully, despite the brutal subject matter it was such a pleasure to read her account of the events.
