Monsters of Men by Patrick Ness

5.0

Excellent. A totally satisfying end to a really gripping series. Still tons of depth here (I always worry that the last book of a series will be rushing to resolve stuff and leave me unsatisfied, not so here). Much more deep exploration of war how a single individual's action (or inaction) can have impact on a large scale. Still a wonderful play with the balance and grey areas of "good guys" and "bad guys". I especially loved getting a close look into Spackle society and how the native species' society came to be in terms of "Noise". I loved how (some of) the humans in the story evolved in terms of "Noise" too. I thought the end was pretty much perfect.
