Meh? This seemed pretty close to reality, to be honest. And I didn't care for the judgemental eye of the narrator, constantly calling people fat for no reason (unless the reason is to convey that the narrator/author finds fatness unpleasant and these people are fat because they are bad people, which case that's even worse).
