~for you a thousand times over~

The Kite Runner is truly a father-son relationship story which across its 340 pages, emphasises a expertly crafted familial narrative.

Within the first half, we are following a young Amir and Hassan and their blossoming friendship, until a horrific incident changes the trajectory of their relationship.
The latter half sees Amir, now 38 years old, trying to atone for this certain transgression.

This novel has themes of guilt and redemption at its core and is frankly one of the most moving stories I have ever read.

Beautiful, poetic, and simultaneously caused heartache whilst inspiring hope!
