Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston

The author calls this book an “escapist, trauma-soothing, alternate-but-realistic reality.” And I think that’s an accurate description. It’s also a fun smutty gay romance book. I found myself laughing out loud a lot, and feeling all warm and fuzzy from all the love shown depicted on these pages. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I personally sometimes had a hard time following the political drama parts of the book, but also because as much as I really enjoyed reading it, I probably won’t read it again. It’s definitely worth recommending though!
