Mrs. Mike by Benedict Freedman, Nancy Freedman
5.0
I found this book to be engrossing and full of depth. Mrs. Mike is a young bride of a Mountie who moves into the most remote parts of northern canada to be with her husband. She lives among Indian natives in the wilderness. This is a hard life and the reader is brought through many emotional experiences. I found the characters to be engaging and the writing of events to be well-thought out accounts of a difficult life. I highly recommend this book --- but keep in mind that it is an emotional read.
