I hated this book.

I hated Tesla Crane. I hated the way she threw her wealth and status around, while occasionally making token references to "not wanting to be that customer". I hated perpetually hearing about how much pain she was in; I'm sure it resonates with some readers, and I'm glad for them, but that doesn't mean I have to enjoy reading it. I hated how she seems to be the most famous person in the solar system.

I hated the stupid fucking lawyer whom Tesla was constantly calling. I hated her quirky crochet habit, and her constant outraged bluster filled with insults which sound like they came straight from 2012 Tumblr (e.g. "you mammering lobster").

I detested Gimlet the service dog. I hated how she was, universally, considered the cutest sweetest most perfect adorable wonderful creature in the entire world. I hated how absolutely everyone melted for her. I hated how she could apparently diffuse any and all situations just by existing adorably. I don't like Westies anyway.

I hated the picture-perfect, bland, boring relationship between Tesla and her spouse. I hated their continued insistence on investigating the crimes even after being told time and time again not to do so. I hate the way that they were so much better and cleverer and correcter than the politically-incorrect Security Chief. He was, frankly, the character I was rooting for.

On the neutral-to-positive side... the writing itself was adequate. I quite liked the world-building, except for in relation to gender. And, best of all, I've finished it and never have to read it again.
