FINALLY! After many many many many months, I have finished Jane Eyre. I wished I had read this sooner! If I had read this in high school, I would have devoured this book and wrote the best in-depth analysis essay the world had ever seen. Jane Eyre is one of those books you can go on and on about. Each theme it explored was rich and detailed. I loved the take on women's roles in the society at the time and men's need to use marriage as a way to claim a woman's agency. Never ever will I shut up about this book as long as I live. Thank you to my bestie, Adela, for making me read this monster of a book.
