The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams

5.0

You will instantly see why this is a sci-fi classic. Adams is simultaneously charming, irreverent, and laugh-out-loud funny.

Arthur Dent's romp through time and space, albeit largely accidental and entirely against his will, engages you with perspectives on the nature of time, the enormity of the universe, and the improbability of literally anything happening at any time.

While I believe the first book in the series to be the best they are all spectacular. An easy recommendation to all fans of science-fiction and/or comedy.
