I think I’m a Catherine Cowles expert now because I knew the killer 2 books in a row!! I feel very smart 😂 There were still a few twists that had my jaw dropping though, I mean duh, twists are her specialty! Arden is probably in competition for my top fmc. I loved her ferocity, and her unwillingness to back down, or give up the fight. I also just love a woman who can hold a knife to a man’s throat. Lucky for her Linc loves that quality in a woman too. He was perfect for her. He immediately saw what he wanted, and every time she tried to let her fear of loving someone make her run he was patient and understanding, and talked through it. I loved him! My problem with all Catherine Cowles books is that when they’re over I just want to go back and start them again immediately, and then read her entire backlist over again, and never read anything else ever! Idk how she does that! I think it’s an addiction at this point!
