Wicked Saints
by Emily A. Duncan
Rating: 4/5 ★
Promising start to a series, with an interesting cast of characters and magic system. The discussion about gods and the acquisition of power, plus how convoluted the desire of power is. We saw multiple people reaching for control over this war and at the end how betrayal is such a big part of this struggle. The only part I felt dragged the book a bit was the romance between Nadya and Malachiasz, I get how he made her question a lot of her beliefs, but the dramatic aspect of it was too much. Did enjoy Serafin's perspective, didn't think we would get that.
