A good addition to the Fate of the Jedi series. The entire series definitely picked up pace after Allies, and Vortex carries along the story nicely as well. Similar to pretty much every book in this series, it slowly builds up momentum and then picks up pace towards the middle/end.

However, I really did not care about Tahiri’s trial. It kept dragging on for so long.

Other than that and a few other flaws of this book, it was pretty good.
