The Last Days of Holly Hayes by Sandra J. Paul

adventurous dark sad tense medium-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
  • Strong character development? No
  • Loveable characters? No
  • Diverse cast of characters? No

Freaking ridiculous. Like, the flipping aspect of this book is kind of fun except the story is really repetitive, each side tells the exact same events so when you flip you go back a bit.
THEN THE ENDING WHAT THE FUCK?! everyone is happy, healing, doing well and it's Armageddon? WHY? Stupid. So dumb.

I was annoyed with all the choices the characters were making
if someone locked me into a mountain, i would be fuckin stuff up not literally fucking them, are you kidding? And then when they get out, she DOESN'T PRESS CHARGES? FUCK THAT. GET AWAY GIRL, THAT BOY IS ALL RES FLAGS!

Overall I'd say it was a cool concept but not super well executed and it could've used another round of editing by native English speaker because some of the phrasing was odd. Glad I read it but I didn't love it.
