This story brought me back to my younger years when we visited the sequoias.  My dad took a picture of me in front of General Sherman where he took multiple pictures so we could demonstrate the massiveness of the tree. It’s one of my favorite pictures.  I could see the trees in this book so clearly. Loved how the author wove in the trees as characters.
