The Sacrifice of Sunshine Girl by Paige McKenzie

1.0

I can’t even begin to explain how badly written this book is. I was cringing the whole time I read this. Everyone in this felt flat. The main character is just the absolute worst. How come that you are the only thing standing between oblivion and saving the world, and yet you problematize over none sensical things like dress shopping and going to a high school dance? That does not just make sense.

This was one of the books that I got from “blind date with a book” and didn’t see that this was a final installment to a series. Just think about how disappointing that the villain had been wiped out by a boulder just like that. Haha. It’s funny to think about! And the whole scene was only five pages long. Not that strong of a villain who is threatening humanity's existence, right?

This is like the Walmart version of fantasy books. I skimmed through this and finished reading in about twenty minutes and I got the whole gist of it anyway.
