This book introduces Isabelle who lives a sheltered life, more so a life of a captive. Her whole life she has been feed lies to control her and now shes faced with people she thinks are her enemies telling her that is not the case.
Isabelle is moved to a school run by Lucifer and has 7 gorgeous guardians to protect her (or keep her in line). Isabelle wants nothing but freedom and with the lies and omissions continuing she wants nothing but to escape.
Throughout the book, we see interesting developments between her and her guardians but also the relationships that already seem formed between some of the guardians. Im hoping in the next book we get explore more of this.
This book ends on a cliffhanger and I cannot wait for the next one. I cannot wait for Isabelle to come into her own and be the badass I know she can be.
