3.5 stars for the second installment of this mm shifter romance series.

🐺jealousy/possessiveness
🐺domestic fluff

I loved Matthew and Arik - this mismatched pair are forced together because of Arik’s love spell which leads to distrust and severe dislike between them and from the rest of the pack. But Arik’s background and his insecurities hit really hard - I was tearing up at some points. He deserves the world and Matthew eventually wants to give it to him and protect him as much as he can without smothering him. They’re truly so cute.

The plot and characters were developed more in this one with the introduction of an overarching plot that the characters will have to deal with. I enjoyed the Ian and Nate cameos and getting to see more magical socks!!

Next up is Colin, who as we’ve seen from this book is a newly minted pack leader recovering from his crush on Arik. He seems like a genuinely good guy so I’m excited for his story.
