bandralynn 's review for:
A Conspiracy of Kings
by Megan Whalen Turner
I enjoyed this series a lot. The writing style was far different than most YA novels I've read. The first book was in first person; the second and third in third person; and the fourth in both first person and third person. It was really interesting. And I came to love all the characters, especially Sophos and Gen.
I also loved how each book was about the creation of a king or queen. Book one was about how the Queen of Eddis cemented her power. Book two was about how the Queen of Attolia kept her power. Book three was about how Gen became Attolis and how he earned his subjects' trust. And book four was about how Sophos became Sounis. Every book was so carefully crafted, and I loved how all the plans came together.
This entire series was quite wonderful.
