Small World by Laura Zigman

I picked this up because I liked the cover. After a little while of listening, I felt like it wasn't really for me and I put it down (for a day). I sort of accidentally picked it back up when I couldn't find something better to read.
The conflicts faced are relatively low stakes, which is a nice change of pace from murder or time travel or mystery. It's a palate cleanser allowing for reflection on familial and platonic relationships, and the nuance of sentimentality and sharing memories.
It's the kind of book that begs to be discussed and would make an interesting book club selection.
