Yarik saved Kirill when he was just a boy even though his father thinks he almost killed him.

This was such an amazing insight in the mafia world from seeing how these two grew up. Kirill ends up becoming Yarik’s father bodyguard and Yarik is the mafia prince.

I wanted to throw my tablet across the room multiple times because this is such a hurt/comfort story but I loved EVERY moment of it. I loved how this story is a childhood friends to enemies to eventually lovers.

And the letters… swoon! I think that’s hen Yarik truly fell for his best friend even more by getting a glimpse. Can I just say I love both of Yarik’s bodyguards especially Beck. Dude has a backbone and ain’t scared of Yarik’s father.

Just why?! A cliffhanger at the end was not what I was even expecting. But it was the best cliffhanger that I’ve read in such a long time.
