I don't know why I waited so long to read this book. Fans of ACOTAR and From Blood and Ash will breathe a breath of fresh air with this world that is equally complex and compelling. Twists you don't see coming, a story that unfolds in a really satisfying way, a complicated slow burn, found family, dark themes, tension! I can't believe there's projected to be 5 of these, I'm so ready to see every corner of this world and watch our main characters solve new problems and grow in new ways!
