Sadly, I had to DNF this. I didn't know this is a supernatural historical fiction mystery romance, but that wasn't the problem: this story didn't hold my interest. I'll admit I'm not a fan of romance but I can get through it with another subplot such as a mystery, thriller, or an historical event. Yes, I know this is a romance - I'm aware of what I requested to read - and I thought the supernatural part would give this enough spice to keep me interested, but I couldn't enjoy it. Maybe it's just me but I JUST finished a romance novel prior to this one that's more enjoyable! Overall it's ok, if you're into Victorian-esque gossip
