It hovers somewhere between "I kinda liked it" and "It was ok". I probably would have rated this differently, if I didn't listen to the audiobook. I think the narrator kept me more interested than the actual content, if that makes sense. Idk. It's weird, maybe slightly unsettling ... but not scary or creepy (IMO). I genuinely had no idea where the story was going, so maybe that also kept me hooked? I did not see the ending coming, but also was not that shocked. It was more of an "oh, oh okay" moment. :shrug:
