Been putting off reading this for a while as I found it a bit daunting but I really enjoyed this. This was atmospheric, dark and very dark academia. It does get quite dark at times so I'd check the trigger warnings possibly before reading.
The writing was beautiful and descriptive but was very slow paced. At times I felt there was a lot of filler in the dialogue which made the story feel slightly disjointed which is why this is not a 5 star read for me but I still really enjoyed it and I can't stop thinking about this book.
