J'irai cracher sur vos tombes by Boris Vian

★★★★★ - Apparently, you either love this book or completely hate it. I'm happy to announce this book is now one of my all-time favourites.

Before reading this book, a lot of friends warned me about [a:Boris Vian|15959|Boris Vian|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1503336562p2/15959.jpg]'s style. Apparently, you either love or hate books like [b:I Spit on Your Graves|766860|I Spit on Your Graves (Vernon Sullivan, #1)|Boris Vian|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1348220009l/766860._SY75_.jpg|93395], there is no in-between.
Yesterday, I had to spend a long time on the train (going back to my hometown) and I decided to start reading this book during this journey. I can't even remember when was the last time I read a book that fast. I am so happy I gave it a try.
This book is so great, I loved it, but I completely understand why some people hate it because the style and plot are... something (TW: rape, child abuse & vulgar language). I also feel I must warn you that the great majority of the things happening in this book are simply horrible and disgusting (I understand why this book was banned).
However, I have no idea if all the books by Boris Vian are like this one.
This book is very good, I really recommend it (but only if you know you can handle it).
