I love each of these books more! This one was absolutely my favorite because of Mack. Mack is utter perfection! He only had a single moment of questionability, and it was completely understandable for his character and his situation. But this man was kind and caring and sweet and sexy and confident and strong and knew what he wanted, and he was patient with Kate. I absolutely love everything about him. He was also very witty and has the best pick-up/flirty lines so far in the books. I also loved Kate, even though she was definitely prickly. I loved getting to see her grow through her issues and learn that not all men are the same or are going to leave her once they find out she has epilepsy. Their friendship was sweet as was their romance, and I couldn't get enough of it. If I ever found a man like Mack, I would snatch him up so quickly! This man did one thing after another for Kate that had me swooning! And his love and patience with his daughters had me crying! I also loved how Kate kept getting lost in his "Blue. Blue. Blue." eyes
