Between the Lines by Jodi Picoult, Samantha van Leer
2.0
Actual rating: 2.5 stars.
It was a cute premise, amazing illustrations, and a somewhat interesting plot. I enjoyed reading this book. But, when it comes to rating it, I have to deduct points because, looking back, it's not a terribly well-written book. The characters are all very flat, the high school situations seem cliche and unrealistic, and the ending was a little unbelievable for me.
If you're interested in reading this book, I'd say go for it. It's entertaining. But don't expect a particularly well developed novel.
