This is an absolutely shocking book - but mostly because it feels like nothing has changed. What shocked a nation 50 years ago now feels commonplace, expected.
Then I realized that both Trump and Biden were in their late 20’s/early 30’s when Watergate happened. Biden had just been elected to the Senate. What formative years for future presidents; what must these two have learned watching this all unfold in front of them?
