I was assigned to read this book for a class. Through it, I learned a lot about this time period and these cultures. I deeply enjoyed the relationships and their complexities. I love this book and consider it my favorite. As I read it a long time ago, I wonder how my feelings about it would have adjusted now, but I don´t think I´m ready to go through the turmoil of this novel again. Highly recommend, but this is not a book to be consumed lightly.
