I found Jacinda to be a bit annoying in this book. After her star-crossed romance of book 1 leads to her doing the unimaginable, she faces the consequences of her actions, but then she does something she shouldn't, causes trouble for someone else, faces worse consequences but is given an out... it's not fair to someone else, but she takes it. I suppose that is how most teens would act, though... Her actions at the end of the book have redeemed her a bit, enough to keep me moving on to book 3.
