Stolen Innocence: My Story of Growing Up in a Polygamous Sect, Becoming a Teenage Bride, and Breaking Free of Warren Jeffs by Elissa Wall

4.0

Still on the polygamy kick...probably since I just read "Escape" and the season of "Big Love" has just started.

It's hard to not compare this book to "Escape." They both even have some of the same minor people overlap, as they are discussing the same community.

I think I found Wall's memoir to be more compelling, because she actually took on Warren Jeffs and was a key witness in his trail. This book also dealt with a lot more of what it means to grow up in the community. Both books work well together, as they show different aspects of the FDL community and lifestyle.
