A Requiem of Fire and Ice by Shaina Anastasi

5.0

A Requiem of Fire and Ice is a dark romance fantasy with a dual pov and morally grey protagonists. There is a slow burn, spice, an enemies to lovers vibe and awesome elemental powers. This series and this book can be described as a butterfly effect moulded into a story, where the beginning is the same but the endings differ by choices taken. This is a really unique concept and I like it alot.

The story is explicit, really heart-felt and at times kind of endearing. I love how I got to feel how Pandora felt, why she felt that way. Certain chapters gave me vibes from my hero academia. The concept of elemny, soul mates, different kingdoms for different types of elemnys, how food and drinks are different to elemny types, along with seasons, emotions and physical appearances is so well thought through and described.

Then you have the banter and games between Pandora and Reen… I think I discovered a new side to myself because I liked it perhaps a bit too much. And the ending? I so can't wait for the next book/chapter!

I read this book as an ARC reader but my opinions are my own and my review is voluntarily.
