Ya know, last winter I read 4 of these books back to back and had a thoroughly good time with them, and since then I've read a heckin lot of romance novels so I think my horizons have been broadened enough to have a stronger opinion than I did last year.

These books are a good time, plain and simple. The story is easy enough to follow and the characters are enjoyable, the smut is bangin, the sci fi/fantasy element adds a fun layer to each book without being too complicated to follow, and each book has different character voices so they never feel like the same thing over and over again. While I wouldn't say they're exceptional enough to get me bingeing all... what, 15 of them?... they're an easy fall back and a good introduction to monster smut if that's something a person wants to venture into.

I have read some GARBAGE kindle unlimited romances, and these books definitely have the right amount of hype for them. Just a solid, fun, easy romance to get the people goin
