introvertbird 's review for:
Berserk, Vol. 9
by Kentaro Miura
Wounds part 1 and part 2 have singlehandedly changed the lens I view the world through. It is not darker, or lighter, the color remains the same, the tint is unchanged as well, but it is oh so different, a deeper perspective.
Without competition, the best manga volume I have ever read, compassionate, sensitive, dark, and gloomy all written and drawn up in roughly 200 pages.
