This novella takes place in Nigeria, and is absolutely full of action and a strong critique of capitalism. Love it.
Okorafor is a fantastic writer. Though this novel is short, AO and DNA are complete characters who are scrambling to find their own space in a well-defined and built world of the future. The struggles they experience are clear, and their relationship feels real.
