Book Description:
When Remington (Remi) James agreed to move with her offbeat Uncle Skip and her cousin, Natalie, to a small town located lakeside in Minnesota for his new business venture, she never could have imagined how her life would turn upside down. All she wanted was the chance to start over, to reinvent herself. The problem is, she's quickly drawn into lies, secrets, and strange happenings.

Charlie, Cal, Wilder, and Grady spent their lives in Lake Hollow... but they are all far from being friends. The tragedies that occurred years before pushed them together. All pointing fingers at one another.

Is the lake cursed? The former Gibson Family FunPark and rental cabins in Lake Hollow haunted? Or is everyone trying to make sense of the tragedies that the town has had in the only ways they can?

Regardless, Remi is about to get pulled in by a killer.

BWBH Review:
Remington James is dragged to Lake Hollow by her uncle and cousin, who are reopening an old amusement park. Remi has a zero-f*cks attitude about her family, her job, and her new home. She befriends several locals who aren’t eager to share Lake Hollow's dark secrets.

The MMCs were the highlight of this story. Two cinnamon rolls, a rockstar, and a recluse make up Remi’s harem.

I was really looking forward to reading this book; however, it fell flat for me. In my opinion, Remi was straight-up annoying. From her appearance to her attitude, she was trying too hard to look like she wasn’t trying. Overall, the FMC wasn’t my cup of tea. Because of my feelings towards Remi, I found the chemistry to be lacking.

Lake Hollow Secrets is perfect for readers who enjoy romantic suspense, quirky FMCs, and a brood of eclectic MMCs.

Thank you to Roisin Visser and Happily Booked PR for the ARC.
