I mean honestly? I kinda understand why the Athenians killed Socrates.. he’s a punk little bitch tbh.
I mean he made some solid points but his way of teaching is roundabout and often tedious. Like he makes wild generalizations all the time and it felt like his goal in every conversation was to make the others look stupid. I think by book 5 even Socrates was getting tired of hearing himself talk. Glaucon and Thrasymachus are my favorites. Socrates/Plato are very wise of course and I think book 8 is probably my favorite followed by book 7. Overall, I’m glad I read it but I don’t know if I’d read it in full ever again.
