THE END OF ERA TWO OF MISTBORN
Those words brought a close to the seventh book in the Mistborn series.... a monumental undertaking by Brandon Sanderson to tell a story that spans multiple eras in the same magical world, where Allomancers can ingest certain metals to access specific powers. The first three books took place in a fanstasy setting. Then came Era Two, with four books that were set in the same world, but much later... in a Western setting. And from what I've heard, Era Three will be set in an early computer age comparable to our own 1980s.
I loved both of the eras that Sanderson has shown us so far, but I have to say that I loved Era Two more... The two heroes, Wax and Wayne (yes, those are their names), were a perfect team, and I always got a laugh out of Wayne's antics and witticisms. Sad to see this era go, but eagerly looking forward to the next one!
