Really Good, Actually by Monica Heisey

5.0

Maggie is really good, actually. Her husband of an embarrassingly short marriage just moved out, leaving her struggling to pay the bills for her small apartment and taking their cat with him.

But she’s determined to make this divorce the catalyst for an amazing journey of self discovery. She’s good…really.

Hilariously honest and human, Monica Heisey brings her talents as a comedian and screenwriter to this tale of self discovery filled with plenty of self sabotaging. I genuinely laughed out loud more than once as I listened on audiobook, leaving my fellow gym goers a bit confused I’m sure.

I definitely recommend if you’re looking for something a bit more lighthearted but not entirely devoid of realism.
