Being brought up with the original story, I thought I would give this a whirl.

Jacqueline has brought the classic story right up to date and even though it took me a couple of chapters to get used to the characters and that this isn’t the original story but inspired by the original.

The main tree characters have been brought to life once again just how I remembered which I’m glad about.

Definitely one for grown ups wanting to relive a modern version and for kids who have not met Mr Moonface and Saucepan Man!
