I feel as if I saying I enjoyed this book is morbid and sadistic but I truly was gripped from the get go. For a book just shy of 200 pages it sure as anything packs a punch. 
I felt immersed in this narrative in such a way as though these people were not just people written on a page. I thought I was in their family, defending them, protecting them and listening to all side. Beautiful.
