Another of the Arcanum Unbounded essays in my long Sanderson list. I do love his short stories - this has been my favourite so far and it played out like an episode of a series in my head. I loved the idea of these gorgeous birds gaining magic from the island they live on. I am loving how unique each of Sanderson’s magic systems are! Cosmere has been 10/10 so far!
