FBI Agent Elizabeth LeBlanc is racing against time to stop a terrorist attack on US soil. It becomes abundantly clear that the only person who may be able to help her stop the attack is the same US Navy Seal who distracts her more than anyone she has ever met. As the two race to catch the terrorists, Derek Vaugh is also racing to prove to Elizabeth that there could be more between them than just a mutual call to serve their country. Laura Griffin is a master of amazingly well-written romantic suspense featuring strong, intelligent, capable characters in both the male and female roll. You definitely won't find any girls with twisted ankles running from the bad guy in her books, which is what puts her front-and-center on my auto-buy list every time.
