Briar and Storm. This is a taboo niece and adopted uncle romance with A LOT of spice 🥵🫠🔥🌶️🤤. I loved the main characters and revisiting Crimson Ridge. Briar’s ex and her sister were abhorrent. My hatred for them almost took me out of the story with how much Briar couldn’t quite dodge their intrusive hateful attitudes. Literally, 🤮 they were so gross. I have seen the reason why the sister despises Briar done in other books and done a bit better. They deserved more karma than what they received, in my opinion. I love how the main characters couldn’t fight their attraction. How much control and confidence Storm gives and inspires. I will be continuing on with the series.
