Mr. Nobody
by Catherine Steadman
This was a godawful book, but damn was it entertaining! The writing was horrendous - seriously, please learn to use commas correctly… I really wasn’t expecting typos from an ‘international bestseller’, but here we are.
The neuroscience in this book was clunky and hilariously wrong, which I’m begrudgingly willing to accept as being targeted towards a lay audience (but still feel you shouldn’t do it if you’re not going to do it right).
There are so many plot holes and inconsistencies, and we’re left without a proper explanation. But the build up, the premise, and the mystery was so enticing.
This book was such a disappointment, but it was a train wreck I couldn’t look away from.
